2016 Volkswagen Passat Alltrack wagon is going to be launched at Geneva Motor Show. It is going to be the updated version of 2015 VW Passat. It is a full size wagon with dynamic features and upgraded performance. It will bring convenience to the travelers with its neat interior as well as the exterior looks.

Various changes have been made to enhance the outer look. The wagon is constructed by using aluminum and fiber to keep it light weighted. It weight around 190 lbs. The doors have matt chrome finish and custom fog lights have been added at the front. The tail lights are redesigned and trapezoidal trims are integrated on rounded rear bumper for exhaust system. The tailgate and radiator grille have exquisite look with Alltrack badges. The wagon is geared up with 17 inches alloy wheels along with rugged wheel arch. 18 and 19 inch wheels are also available as an option.

The 2016 VW Passat is roomy and comfortable wagon with more leg room and space for arms and elbows. The new model has more subtle looks and trims. The seats are made of natural leather equipped with features like fourteen ways adjustable, massage option and climate control giving a comfortable experience to the passengers. The doors’ sill plates are made of stainless steel with “Alltrack” lettered on them. It has coupling mobile phone box, which provides the facility to connect the smartphone to the external vehicle aerial of the wagon. The all train model is furnished with head-up and active Info Display. It also has rear seat entertainment system ‘Media Control’ for hand held tablets. Display of new Volkswagen Passat 2016 has a couple of options, first and standard is 5.0-inch screen, optional upgrade are bigger size screens from 6.5-inch and 8.0-inch.
The 2016 Volkswagen Passat Alltrack is powered with a 1.4 liter Double Overhead Cam V6 four cylinder engine with six-speed automatic transmission, all wheel drive as a standard feature. However, it also provides five more optional engines to choose from, out of them two are petrol based and the other three are diesel based engines. The turbo petrol engines produce 150PS (147hp) and 220PS (216hp) respectively, where as the diesel engines generate 140PS (138hp), 190PS (187hp) and 240PS (236hp) respectively. The safety features include Emer¬gency Assist to stops vehicle in emergency, side assist for lane change assistance, trailer assist along with rear traffic alert.
Release Date and Price
The price of the new 2016 Volkswagen Passat in not disclosed yet, the buyers have to wait for it and it will be available at the showrooms at the end of 2015.
